Tropical Cyclone 05A (Five) Warning

Cyclone 05A (five) developed on October 17 with a wind speed of 30 km/h in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Cyclone 05A (five) is moving towards Socotra Island, the coastal areas of Yemen, and Oman (Salalah).

On Sunday, October 22, Cyclone 05A (five) will expected with strong winds and rain, with a peak wind speed of 205 km/h.

Therefore, until October 25th, Puntland fishermen and commercial boats are advised not to travel the Gulf of Aden and Indian Ocean. 

Puntland Information Management Center for Water and Land Resources (IMC) is closely monitoring and will provide updates on Cyclone 05A (five).
