Weekly Rainfall Forecast 18-24 September 2023

• The onset of Deyr 2023 is anticipated in the next week in some parts of the Puntland regions
• Moderate rainfall in the range of (40-100) mm has been forecast for the regions of Sool, Sanaag, Haylaan, Bari, Karkaar, and Ras-casayr.
• The rainfall forecast map indicates that some localized locations in the Ceerigaabo, Badhan, and Bali-dhidin districts might receive 200mm.
• The communities in the flood-prone areas of Sanaag, Haylaan, Bari, and Karkaar regions are advised to take care until 24th September. 

Users are advised that this is a forecast, and there may be discrepancies between estimates and actual amounts of rainfall received. During the rainy season, IMC will produce updated forecasts on a weekly basis.
